Berkeley shore On today’s WeBS count birds included eight Teal, 204 Mallards, 37 Wigeon, eight Shelducks, four Grey Herons, a Little Egret, five Redshanks, 17 Curlews, nine Lapwings, four Turnstones, three Dunlins, 33 Black-headed Gulls, 134 Common Gulls and 12 Cormorants. Also a Yellowhammer, 150+ Fieldfares, 300+ Redwings and 25 Song Thrushes including 6+ in song. (Jon Haw).
