Cotswold Water Park West    The juvenile GREAT NORTHERN DIVER still on Pit 16 this morning. Also a YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER with a Long-tailed Tit flock at 8:30am. (Andy Jayne). A drake Goldeneye on Pit 16. (Steve Pullen). In the Pit 201b area, two Egyptian Geese, 230 Shovelers, 14 Gadwalls, 13 Pintails, 1250 Teal, 200+ Lapwings, a Great White Egret, a Red Kite, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, four Chiffchaffs, six Blackcaps, two Stonechats, four Bullfinches and three Redpolls (Lesser). In the Lower Mill area, 122 Red Crested Pochards, all but five at Pit 44, six Goldeneyes, 35 Goosanders at Pit 41, six Little Grebes, two Little Egrets, a Marsh Harrier, five Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap. Between Shorncote and Pit 31, three Egyptian Geese flew over, 95 Pochards, ten Water Rails heard at dusk, eight Little Grebes, two Great White Egrets, five Little Egrets, 70 Lapwings, two Snipe, two Green Sandpipers, a Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, eight Chiffchaffs, four Stonechats, four Bullfinches and five Reed Buntings. Also a huge Starling roost of up to 50,000 birds at Keynes Country Park, probably in the Pit 31 reed-bed. (Andy Jayne).

WWT Slimbridge     12 TUNDRA BEAN GEESE on the Tack Piece this morning. (Paul Rich/Paul Masters/Ian Hull/Tim McGrath). Two PINK-FOOTED GEESE from Estuary Tower, one of unknown origin and one presumably wild. (Ian Hull). A BITTERN showing well from Van de Bovenkamp hide this morning. (Paul Rich). A Firecrest along the walkway near Martin Smith hide. (Ian Hull).

Sharpness     The SHAG on the pier this morning, returning later to SARA pool until 2:30pm at least. (MK/Roberta Goodall/Geoff Moyser/Oliver Paisey). Also early morning 88 Wigeon, 38 Mallards, a Snipe, two Redshanks, 11 Cormorants, a Peregrine and a singing Cetti’s Warbler. (MK).

Frampton     The SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF again today in the hedge along the southern edge of the sailing lake but no sign of the Yellow-browed Warbler. (Martin McGill).

Tewkesbury     A JACK SNIPE and a Water Rail at Cowfield Farm today. (Les Ditchburn).

Cirencester     A Marsh Tit, a Coal Tit, a Nuthatch and a Raven in Cirencester Park this morning. (David Creber).

Ashleworth Ham     205 Greylags, 150 Canada Geese, 65 Lapwings, 11 Pintails, ten Shovelers, three Tufted Ducks, 80 Wigeon, 42 Teal, five Gadwalls, 45 Mallards, two Redwings, seven Fieldfares, two Chaffinches, a Buzzard, a Sparrowhawk and a Peregrine caught a Teal. (John Fletcher).

Chavenage Lane area     10+ Red Kites, 15+ Buzzards, two Lapwings and eight Corn Buntings today. (Terry Grant).

Quedgeley     Two Firecrests and a Grey Wagtail in the garden today. (Steve Pullen).

Gloucester     A parakeet, presumably Ring-necked, visiting garden feeders in Kingsholm last seen on the 1st. A Green Woodpecker visiting every morning. (Donna Bell).
