Coombe Hill Meadows     A SLAVONIAN GREBE on the floodwater above the Snipe Pool from midday to 12:30pm then flew off towards the scrapes (inaccessible as the path is flooded to the hide). Also two Marsh Harriers, a Buzzard, a Red Kite, three Jays, 50+ Redwings, 80+ Fieldfares and a Greenfinch. (Paul Clark). The grebe was searched for this afternoon but not relocated.

Cotswold Water Park East     The BLACK-NECKED GREBE still on Pit 120 Horseshoe Lake today. There is no public access. Horseshoe Lake is a private fishing complex. The only way to view is from the layby on the A361 Burford Road looking through the tree fence on the Northern arm or to view through the trees from the end of Lechlade High Street for the Southern arm. Cotswold Water Park West     A GREAT NORTHERN DIVER on Pit 87 and another GREAT NORTHERN DIVER on Pit 16. (Duncan Dine/Ian Hull).

WWT Slimbridge     A WATER PIPIT in the cut reeds in the first pool from the Martin Smith hide at 1:30pm. (@Alex85841). 16 TUNDRA BEAN GEESE on the Dumbles. Also the Pink-footed Goose of unknown origin and the Ross’s Goose. (Mark Coller).

Slimbridge    Two WHOOPER SWANS again on the moor S of Shepherds Patch bridge on the far side of the canal at SO717037 mid morning but viewing difficult through the hedgerow. (Les Ditchburn).

Hazleton    Today 30+ BRAMBLINGS, four Corn Buntings, 20 Chaffinches and ten Linnets behind the usual 5-bar gate at SP 07438 18721. (Mark Longland/Paul Masters/MK).

Hawling     c250 Fieldfares in the hedgerow and field adjacent to the dilapidated corrugated barn today. (Mark Longland).

North Cerney     6+ Grey Partridges on the opposite side of the road from Nordown Farm hunkered down in the crop c20m from the road. (Paul Masters/MK).
