Cotswold Water Park West     On Pit 87 the GREAT NORTHERN DIVER still today. (Simon Gathercole).

WWT Slimbridge     Two WHOOPER SWANS on the Rushy all day. Also two Oystercatchers. (Terry Stevenson/Paul Clark). At high tide two Sanderlings, five Grey Plovers, 290 Curlews and 15 TUNDRA BEAN GEESE and a Pink-footed Goose. (Paul Clark). A male Siskin by the Sanderson Bridge near South Lake today. Nailsworth     The female MERLIN at Barton End hunting this morning until about midday but always distant. Also many displaying Skylarks, several Meadow Pipits and Corn Buntings, five Red Kites, four Buzzards and a Peregrine over. (Chris Newton).

Forest of Dean     At Parkend by the cricket pitch a Hawfinch, 12 Greenfinches and a Mistle Thrush. Nearby by the Church a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Grey Heron, a Coal Tit and a Grey Wagtail. At Cannop Ponds a Crossbill heard, six Little Grebes, a Grey Wagtail and a displaying Raven. At the feeders a Marsh Tit and two Coal Tits. From New Fancy View two Goshawks, a Bullfinch and a Red Admiral butterfly. At Nagshead two more Goshawks. (Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton).

Highnam Woods     At the feeders a Marsh Tit and a Woodcock flushed. (Tom Berry).

Saul Warth     Late morning a minimum of 17 Little Egrets and 15 Cattle Egrets, 500+ Lapwings, 500+ Dunlins, 100+ Curlews, 22 Shelducks, four Buzzards, two Sparrowhawks, a Kestrel, five Redwings and 6+ Chiffchaffs, two singing. (MK).

Dudbridge     At Redlers Mill this morning two Dippers by the millpond, also a redhead Goosander over heading up river and a Grey Wagtail. Nearby 20 Redwings, two Song Thrushes and four Blackcaps still feeding on Ivy berries. (Steve Pullen).

Shab Hill     This afternoon two Buzzards, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, six Skylarks, a Goldcrest and a Raven. (Gord Avery).
