Coombe Hill Meadows     Very heavy and deep flooding, no access to the reserve possible, view only from the higher ground at The Leigh (scope best). Both the B4213 across Haw Bridge and the A417 at Maisemore are closed by floodwater. Birds today included a drake RING-NECKED DUCK with 15 Tufted Ducks, 60 Greylags, five Canada Geese, 200 Wigeon, 30 Teal, 20 Mallards, two Shovelers, 70+ Coots and 300 Lapwings on the grassy edge of the flood. WWT Slimbridge     The SPOONBILL and two female Goosanders on the Top New Piece. On the Dumbles 16 TUNDRA BEAN GEESE , a Pink-footed Goose, 147 White-fronted Geese with two Barnacle Geese and a Peregrine. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Dudbridge     A Dipper on Redler millpond this morning. (Steve Pullen).

Winchcombe    A Tawny Owl calling in the night in the cemetery. (Gill Worthington).
