Halmore In the woods this morning five Buzzards together, a pair of displaying Sparrowhawks, a Goshawk over, a pair of Ravens, a Mistle Thrush, c20 Redwings, a Bullfinch, two Nuthatches, a Treecreeper, a Chiffchaff and two drumming Great Spotted Woodpeckers. (Chris Newton).

Chavenage Lane area 170+ Fieldfares, three Red Kites and seven Buzzards. The female MERLIN spent much of the afternoon perched high in a Beech tree far away, but visible, on the opposite side of the road to Barton End layby. (Terry Grant).

Longney Crib Mid afternoon onwards birds included eight Pied Wagtails, two Mallards, a female Stonechat, a male Shelduck (m), two Ravens, a Tawny Owl. flew across the small orchard, 150+ Black-headed Gulls and 100+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls. (John Fletcher).
