WWT Slimbridge     Two SPOONBILLS on the Tack Piece today. The first Ringed Plover and a Knot but both briefly. Two Grey Plovers on the river from Estuary Tower. Two WHOOPER SWANS, 85 Bewick’s Swans and a female Mandarin on the Rushy. The hybrid Tufted Duck x Red Crested Pochard on the Eider pen and a drake Goldeneye. (Roberta Goodall/Tom Mabbett).

Minsterworth Ham     This afternoon minimum counts of 13 Shelducks, 50 Shovelers, 300 Wigeon, 20 Teal, 300 Pintails, five Coots, a colour-ringed Curlew, a Sparrowhawk and two Egyptian Geese flew over. (Andy Jayne).

Broadoak    3-5 Ring-necked Parakeets near Hawkins Lane still today. Recommend parking in Newnham car park on the bend by the river and walking. (Ken Hurcombe).

Oxenhall     This afternoon a displaying Sparrowhawk over, two Cormorants around the lake and a male Greenfinch, a male Chaffinch, a male and a female Siskin and a male Blackcap around garden feeders. (Jon Dexter).
