WWT Slimbridge     At high Tide from Estuary Tower a drake GARGANEY, a Knot, three Sanderlings, two Little Stints and a Peregrine. On the Tack Piece the SPOONBILL still. The Tufted Duck hybrid/colour variation on the Rushy at 1pm. A few Siskins around the grounds. (Ian Ralphs/Geoff Moyser/MK). An Egyptian Goose in the approach fields briefly. (Nigel Young). A drake Goldeneye, a Mediterranean Gull, 129 Avocets and 120 Black-tailed Godwits on South Lake. (Ian Hull/Geoff Moyser).

Cotswold Water Park West    On Pit 201b 16 White-fronted Geese, eight Pintails, two Goldeneyes, an Oystercatcher, c400 Lapwings, 40 Golden Plovers, four Common Gulls, a pair of Stonechats, seven singing Chiffchaffs, two singing Blackcaps, a Goldcrest and a Nuthatch and a Great White Egret on Pit 201c. (Richard Williams).

Witcombe Reservoirs     This morning 11 Canada Geese, five Greylags, 140 Mallards, 25 Tufted Ducks, three Great Crested Grebes, 11 Cormorants including a breeding plumaged ‘sinensis’, four Moorhens, two Coots, 38 Black-headed Gulls, ten Herring Gulls, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, two Buzzards, two Pied Wagtails and 45 Redwings. (Gord Avery).

Bentham     A Mute Swan, two Mallards, two Moorhens, nine Coots, a Buzzard, a Sparrowhawk, a pair of Stock Doves and a pair of Mistle Thrushes (Gord Avery).

Nailsworth     The female MERLIN again at Barton End, perched on the wall for a couple of hours. Also lots of Corn Buntings and Skylarks. ST 84102 96618. (Freddy Gardner).
