Cotswold Water Park West    On Pit 201b 16 White-fronted Geese, eight Pintails, two Goldeneyes, an Oystercatcher, c400 Lapwings, 40 Golden Plovers, four Common Gulls, a pair of Stonechats, seven singing Chiffchaffs, two singing Blackcaps, a Goldcrest and a Nuthatch and a Great White Egret on Pit 201c. Witcombe Reservoirs     This morning 11 Canada Geese, five Greylags, 140 Mallards, 25 Tufted Ducks, three Great Crested Grebes, 11 Cormorants including a breeding plumaged ‘sinensis’, four Moorhens, two Coots, 38 Black-headed Gulls, ten Herring Gulls, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, two Buzzards, two Pied Wagtails and 45 Redwings. Bentham     A Mute Swan, two Mallards, two Moorhens, nine Coots, a Buzzard, a Sparrowhawk, a pair of Stock Doves and a pair of Mistle Thrushes (Gord Avery).
