Forest of Dean At Cannop ponds a pair of Ravens collecting moss from woodland floor, four Little Grebes, 12 Mandarins, c10 Goosanders, Mallards, c4 Tufted Ducks, two Mute Swans, a Goshawk briefly over Russell’s inclosure, four Grey Wagtails, a Pied Wagtail, a Nuthatch, a Treecreeper and a bat, probably a Pipistrelle, feeding along the edge of the wet woodland at the southern end of the upper pond, for at least 15 minutes.
