WWT Slimbridge     A Kingfisher and a Mediterranean Gull on South Lake today. The SPOONBILL still on the Tack Piece today. (Jeremy Holland/Martin Price). A male and female Goosander on the Tack Piece and a Firecrest between the Robbie Garnett and Martin Smith hides today. (Terry Stevenson).

Nailsworth     The female MERLIN again at Barton End, perched on the wall at midday, also a Kestrel. ST 84102 96618. (Geoff Moyser).

Forest of Dean     At Cannop ponds a pair of Ravens collecting moss from woodland floor, four Little Grebes, 12 Mandarins, c10 Goosanders, Mallards, c4 Tufted Ducks, two Mute Swans, a Goshawk briefly over Russell’s inclosure, four Grey Wagtails, a Pied Wagtail, a Nuthatch, a Treecreeper and a bat, probably a Pipistrelle, feeding along the edge of the wet woodland at the southern end of the upper pond, for at least 15 minutes. Maisemore      Along the Three Choirs Way a Green Sandpiper, a Little Grebe, two Egyptian Geese, 39 Fieldfares, a Redwing, 56 Pied Wagtails, three Mallards, three Coots, two Moorhens, 51 Starlings. a Buzzard, 1000+ Black-headed Gulls and at least two dozen Common Gulls. (John Fletcher).

Nailsworth     30+ Siskins on the garden feeders and a pair of Long-tailed Tits and two pairs of Blackbirds nesting in the garden. (Terry Grant).
