WWT Slimbridge     The SPOONBILL still on the Tack Piece today. 170 White-fronted and two Barnacle Geese on the Dumbles. (Roberta Goodall/Slimbridge Sightings).

Forest of Dean     A flock of c20 Crossbills sat in a tree in the woods just south of Speech House today. (Peter Morgan).

Frampton pools     A Black Swan, 37 Tufted Ducks, eight Gadwalls, a female Mandarin, 14 Cormorants, a Kingfisher, two singing Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs, a singing, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Coal Tit today. (MK).

Yesterday a male RUDDY DUCK in the Frampton area, the first for 16 years in the Vale. It has been extensively searched for from dawn today but has wisely moved on. (MK).

Saul Warth     An Egyptian Goose early morning. (Martin Wightman).

Cerney Wick     On the Glos-Wilts border six White-fronted Geese with a few Greylags and Canada Geese today. (Duncan Dine).

Berkeley shore     South of Severn House Farm lots of Turnstones and Dunlins, eight Redshanks, four Reed Buntings, six Meadow Pipits, a Stonechat and a Green Woodpecker. (Steve Rickard).

Elmore Court     A JACK SNIPE and 27 Snipe and 50+Siskins with 30+ Goldfinches in the rewilding area today. (Steve Pullen).

Quedgeley     A Little Egret beside the Gloucester-Sharpness canal just up from the Pilot Inn bridge mid afternoon. (Steve Dark).

Leckhampton     In the Pilley Bridge reserve a Jay, a singing Greenfinch, a Blackcap eating Ivy berries, a small party of Long-tailed Tits and a Mistle Thrush heard singing. (Steve Brown).
