Tidenham     The DARTFORD WARBLER today until midday at least on Poor’s Allotment. It is wide-ranging and can be elusive but is usually with a pair of Stonechats. It was not seen between 2:30pm and 4:35pm. Also six Stonechats, 12 Crossbills, six Siskins, a Redpoll, a Marsh Tit and a Tawny Owl calling. (Ian Ralphs et al).

Cotswold Water Park West     Late news for Sunday 1st March, the GREAT NORTHERN DIVER still on Pit 87 and heard calling. At Shorncote reedbed two Red Kites, a female Marsh Harrier and a Cetti’s Warbler. (David Creber).

WWT Slimbridge     This morning a MERLIN on the Middle Point cross fence. A drake Mandarin in the Decoy. (Dot Jones). The SPOONBILL still on site. Two WHOOPER SWANS and 21 Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. 188 Russian White-fronted Geese still. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Dudbridge     At Redler Mill pond this morning a Dipper, a Grey Wagtail, two Mallards, a drumming Great Spotted Woodpecker and 12 Siskins. (Steve Pullen).
