WWT Slimbridge     Two SPOONBILLS on the Tack Piece. Three Kingfishers in the Decoy this morning and another at Kingfisher hide. On South Lake 140 Avocets and 177 Black-tailed Godwits. (Dot Jones).

Saul Warth     Early morning, no tide 12 Shelducks, 80 Curlews, ten Oystercatchers, two Common Cranes, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, 40 Redwings, 20 Fieldfares, two Skylarks, five Pied Wagtails and two male Reed Buntings. (MK).

Sapperton area     At lunchtime today, five Bramblings, 15 Yellowhammers, 100+ Linnets and ten Goldfinches feeding on put down seed, also six Red Kites, eight Buzzards, 12 Fallow Deer, two Roe Deer and a Grass Snake. (Steve Pullen).

Stonehouse     A Green Sandpiper, a Kingfisher and several small Siskin flocks around the River Frome below Bond’s Mill. Two Grey Wagtails, c10 Chiffchaffs and a Dipper along the river’s southern channel between Eastington and Bridgend. A Grey Heron and a Kestrel over the fields. (Matt Neale).

Alvington    Four Buzzards, two Red Kites and a Peregrine over Clanna Country Park this afternoon. (Paul Woolams).

Frampton pools     A Common Sandpiper on the sailing lake. Also seven Sand Martins, two Snipe and 34 Stock Doves. (Nick Goatman).

Forest of Dean     A Dipper at Cannop ponds this morning. (Rachel Thomas).
