Cleeve Hill c17 pairs of Skylarks on the plateau, a pair of Stonechats, a male Kestrel, a Red Kite, two Buzzards, two pairs of Stock Doves, seven Common Gulls, 22 Peacock butterflies and six Brimstones. In the Thrift Wood area birds included a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, two Nuthatches and a Chiffchaff. On ancient pasture at Woodmancote 60 adult Common Gulls. (Paul Whitehead).
