Breadstone     An OSPREY at lunchtime today cruising slowly south over the woods towards Berkeley Heath and circling briefly with three Buzzards. Also a hunting Goshawk, a Bullfinch, many Goldcrests, Coal Tits, Siskins and Nuthatches and a Mistle Thrush, also many Brimstones, four Peacocks, a Holly Blue and a male Orange Tip. (Chris Newton).

WWT Slimbridge    Four White-fronted Geese and a Dark-bellied Brent Goose on the Dumbles. A Green Sandpiper briefly on the Rushy at 12:45pm. (Geoff Fawcett).

Saul Warth     At high tide the first patch Wheatear, 146 Avocets, two Black-tailed Godwits, two Bar-tailed Godwits, 55 Curlews, 20 Redshanks, a Common Sandpiper, three Dunlins, four Oystercatchers, two pairs of Wigeon, a Little Egret, 35 Fieldfares, three Skylarks, a Willow Warbler and a Chiffchaff. Moreton-in-Marsh     A Swallow at Draycott this morning. (Sue Harrison).

Cleeve Hill     At 8am c150 Golden Plovers until flushed by a dog walker and flew off high E. Also a Wheatear. (Roger Gillespie).

May Hill     This morning 15 Crossbills, a Siskin and a Goshawk. (Paul Masters).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning 2+ Buzzards, a Peregrine, five Grey Herons, 8+ Little Egrets, two Ravens, a Stock Dove, four Pintails, four Shovelers, four Wigeon, six Shelducks, five Redshanks, two Oystercatchers, seven Mute Swans, a Curlew, 6+ Chiffchaffs, a Greenfinch, 6+ Bullfinches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and 5+ Lapwings. (Paul Clark). Also two Greylags, 12 Gadwalls, 30 Mallards, 2+ Little Grebes, 30 Coots, 18 Snipe, ten Skylarks, two Fieldfares, six Chiffchaffs, a Raven and 5+ Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart/Ian Ralphs).

Leigh Meadows     Two pairs of Mute Swans, ten Mallards, 15 Snipe, two JACK SNIPE, two Curlews, five Skylarks and a Chiffchaff. Also a Roe Deer. (Mike Smart).

Cobney Meadows     This afternoon a pair of Canada Geese, 17 Shelducks, 20 Teal, 30 Mallards, a Coot, a Curlew, 60 Fieldfare and two Chiffchaffs. (Mike Smart).

Gloucester     On Alney Island two Grey Herons, ten Mallards including a brood of 3 ducklings, four Teal, male and female Shoveler, a Buzzard, five Coots, four Moorhens, a JACK SNIPE, a Snipe, a Mistle Thrush, a male Blackcap, four Chiffchaffs and Orange Tip and Brimstone. (Gord Avery).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon 190 Teal, 45 Wigeon, 35 Shoveler, seven Pintail, two Shelducks, five Tufted Ducks, 51 Coots, seven Lapwings, five Gadwalls, 34 Mallards, five Canada Geese, four Greylags, a Grey Heron, a Little Egret, seven Mute Swans, a Buzzard, two Chiffchaffs, a Stock Dove and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming.
