Frampton Splatt Bridge early morning today, a GRASSHOPPER WARBLER reeling for at least 5 minutes from the northern edge of the 100-Acre at 6:45am but not again today. Also 500+ Sand Martins and House Martins high overhead heading north, two Swallows and a pair of Gadwalls on the canal. (Steve Pullen). From the towpath this afternoon two Reed Warblers, a Tawny Owl heard calling from Nebrow Hill, two Cetti’s Warblers, four Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, a Lapwing, two Common Cranes and a Fox. (MK).

Saul Warth This afternoon no tide and waders all distant 35 Avocets, 60 Curlews, seven Oystercatchers, 30 Shelducks, a Swallow, 15 Sand Martins and a House Martin. (MK).
Norton & The Leigh Meadows A BLACK REDSTART (51°55’41.9″N 2°12’51.3″W), ten Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, two Redstarts, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Whitethroat, four Reed Buntings, a Yellow Wagtail, ten Fieldfares, a Cormorant, a Buzzard, 12 Skylarks, four Pied Wagtails, three Mute Swans, 14 Sand Martins and six Roe Deer.
