Forest of Dean    At Nagshead near Lower hide at least two male PIED FLYCATCHERS, a Kingfisher and a Redstart. (Mike Davis). 2+ Tree Pipits, a Garden Warbler, a Redpoll, a Crossbill and many Chiffchaffs, Siskins and Blackcaps at Serridge Ridge this morning. (Dan Watson).

Hornsleasow Roughs     Early afternoon at SP117323 birds included a male RING OUZEL, a male Redstart, three Coal Tits, three Long-tailed Tits, three Swallows, three Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, two Song Thrushes, a Buzzard and a Red Kite. Also a Swallow in Bledington, on the Gloucestershire side of the village. (Mark Bonner).

Cleeve Hill     A male RING OUZEL above the heather enclosure at 9:30am. (Greg Mabbett). Five Wheatears at 8:30 this morning. (Roy Shilham).

Highnam Woods     A Nightingale singing at 6:30am near the first bench on the path above the hide. (Mike Davis).

Sharpness     A male WHINCHAT, a Wheatear, a Yellow Wagtail and five KITTIWAKES on the river this morning. (Andy Jordan).

Saul Warth     This afternoon 43 Avocets, 45 Curlews, six Oystercatchers, 34 Shelducks, a pair of Kestrels, eight Stock Doves, small hirundine passage of 25 Sand Martins, four House Martins and 11 Swallows, a Whitethroat and a male Marsh Harrier hunting the Awre peninsula. (MK).

Nebrow Hill     At 1:10pm a Cuckoo flew through and sung from the plantation on Nebrow Hill between Cambridge and Frampton-on-Severn. (Tim McGrath).

Cambridge     At 1:45pm at Ryalls Lane three Mandarins (2m & 1f) on the River Cam. (Tim McGrath).

Frampton pools     A Grasshopper Warbler, a Cuckoo, same as Nebrow, two Redwings, a Fieldfare, a Redstart, five Whitethroats, five Willow Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, five Reed Warblers, 50 Chiffchaffs, 51 Blackcaps, 500+ Sand Martins, 12 Swallows, a House Martin, a Redpoll, five Cetti’s Warblers, two Oystercatchers and the Ross’s Goose. WWT Slimbridge     The SPOONBILL on the Tack Piece still. A Spotted Redshank and a Common Sandpiper on the Rushy. On the Dumbles the DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE again. A Greenshank, 44 Avocets and 103 Black-tailed Godwits on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings). The Tundra Bean Goose, 50+ Sand Martins, four Swallows and a Fox on the Tack Piece. (Steve Pullen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Redstarts, six Cattle Egrets, three Little Egrets, a Greenshank, an Oystercatcher, five Yellow Wagtails, a White Wagtail, a Treecreeper and two male Wheatears today. (Ian Hull/Les Ditchburn/Tom Mabbett/Mark Hobson).

Barnsley Warren SSSI     Along the Welsh Way to the pump house five singing Redstarts, two Buzzards, a Raven, a Green Woodpecker and two Nuthatches. On the Fosse Way spur 10+ Red Kites and two Buzzards, several Stock Doves and a few Swallows around the site, also many Pasque Flowers. (Steve Brown).

Stroud     At Rodborough Fields and Frome Banks two Mistle Thrushes, two Dippers, two Treecreepers, a Bullfinch and a Linnet. (Gerard Doran).

Prestbury     40+ feeding Swallows at the pond on the race course this afternoon. (Stuart Galey).
