Also today six Reed Buntings, two singing Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, seven Little Egrets, eight Great Crested Grebes, 28 Greylags, two Barnacle Geese, eight Canada Geese, two Gadwalls, a Teal, 75 Tufted Ducks, 28 Cormorants and two Ravens. Kempley     A Barn Owl quartering a field at 5:15pm between the Green and Wantridge in Kempley. (Steve Watts).

Cleeve Hill     This afternoon 20+ Skylarks on the saddle of the golf course, a Short-eared Owl with a catch at the top of dry bottom and a Greenfinch singing at Dryfield Farm. (Stuart Galey).

Frampton pools     A singing Chiffchaff, eight Great Crested Grebes, two Little Grebes, a male Pochard, a pair of Teal, a pair of Gadwalls, 29 Tufted Ducks, 11 Little Egrets, two Oystercatchers, 34 Snipe, 100+ Redwings, 50+ Fieldfares, two Siskins, six Meadow Pipits, seven Skylarks and two Tawny Owls today. Chalford     A Great White Egret in the Thames and Severn Canal fishing in shallow waters at St Mary’s, Chalford, close to the foot crossing of the railway line and near to St Mary’s Mill. (Ron Buck).

Stonehouse    This morning around the Ocean area, a Little Grebe, a Grey Wagtail, a Chiffchaff and a calling Cetti’s Warbler. (Paul Sutton).

Aylburton Common     This morning a male Bullfinch, a Mistle Thrush, a Jay, a Kestrel, a Grey Wagtail and two Great Spotted Woodpeckers. (John Meadows).

Longney Crib     From SO762117 three Oystercatchers, a Common Sandpiper, two Shelducks, three Mallards, five Cormorants, a Green Woodpecker, three Fieldfares, 50 Starlings, two Ravens, a Buzzard and 550+ Black-headed Gulls. (John Fletcher).

Hucclecote     A male Sparrowhawk on a garden fence this lunchtime for c15 minutes. (Harold Smith).

Ashleworth Ham     29 Mallards, 21 Wigeon, 115  Teal, two Shovelers, four Pintails, two Tufted Ducks, a Greylag, two Snipe, six Chaffinches, two Long-tailed Tits, a Redwing, a Song Thrush and a Grey Heron. (John Fletcher).

Cam     A MERLIN over the M5 at 4:45pm near Cam. (Jon Dexter).

WWT Slimbridge     A male BEARDED TIT from Willow hide today. (Paul Clark).

Halmore     Two Goshawks, a Sparrowhawk, three Buzzards and three Ravens. Other birds included two Goldcrests, two singing Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, a Bullfinch, a Nuthatch, a Treecreeper, a Song Thrush, a small group of Redwings and three Coal Tits. (Chris Newton).

Alvington    A Red Kites and two Goshawks over Clanna Country Park today. (Paul Woolams).

Leigh Meadows     At 9am 23 Little Egrets feeding where the Chelt passes under the A38 until 1:30pm at least. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Mute Swans, 161 Wigeon, 500 Teal, 20 Mallards, 25 Pintails,  17 Shovelers, four Tufted Ducks, a Grey Heron, a Cormorant, 25 Lapwings, a Golden Plover, a Dunlin, five Curlews, 15 Common Gulls, a Chiffchaff singing and two Reed Buntings singing. (Mike Smart).

Batsford Arboretum     This morning, a Mistle Thrush heard, a Nuthatch, a Treecreeper and a Raven calling. (Andrew & Gill Worthington).

Nailsworth     A male Blackcap singing well in the garden this morning. Still two males and a female around. Also two Siskins. (Roy Bircher).

Cotswold Water Park West    On Pit 32 nine Red Crested Pochards, 50+ Pochards, two Gadwalls, two Goosanders, four Great Crested Grebes and 25 Lapwings. On Pit 12 25+ Red Crested Pochards, two Goldeneyes, 40+ Pochards and six Great Crested Grebes. (Oliver Paisey).

Norton    A minimum of 16 Little Egrets on the River Chelt by the A38 at Norton at 1pm today. (Gordon Avery).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning four Mute Swans, four Canada Geese, four Shelducks, 200 Wigeon, four Gadwalls, 600+ Teal, 90 Mallards, 75 Pintails, 50 Shovelers, a male Tufted Duck, a Little Egret, two Grey Herons, three Buzzards, two Coots, ten Lapwing, distant bubbling of Curlews from the southern meadows, 17 Snipe, a JACK SNIPE, four Skylarks singing and 10+ Reed Bunting. (Mike Smart). Also a Marsh Harrier, a Great White Egret, two Redwings and 50+ Fieldfares. (Paul Clark).

Forest of Dean     From New Fancy View three Goshawks, four Buzzards, a Raven, a female Sparrowhawk, a Mistle Thrush, a Crossbill, a Siskin and a Bullfinch. Five Hawfinches at Parkend. At Cannop ponds a Goshawk, a Red Kite, 14 Mandarins, 23 Wigeon, a Goosander, three Ravens, five Coal Tits, three Nuthatches, two Grey Wagtails, four Canada Geese, ten Little Grebes, 12 Chaffinches and three Mute Swans. Hazleton     At least one Brambling still at the regular spot (SP074187) in the line of beech trees today. (Andy Lewis).

Snowshill     In the Snowshill CP, Stanton CP and Littleworth Wood four Buzzards, two Ravens, 115 Jackdaws, a Jay, two Nuthatches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, two Marsh Tits, two Song Thrushes, a Pied Wagtail, four Stock Doves, two Skylarks, four Yellowhammers and two Linnets. Winchcombe    In the garden today, 25 Goldfinches in birch trees, a male Sparrowhawk on the fence, a Greenfinch and a Red Kite overhead. (Andrew & Gill Worthington).
