Forest of Dean     A Firecrest singing at Woorgreens car park at 7:45am. (Martin Greenish).

WWT Slimbridge      A Short-eared Owl from Mid Point, another Red Kite over today, a drake GARGANEY from the South Finger hides and a Goosander flew through. (@slimbridge_wild/Arron Roberts).

Frampton     1000+ Swifts and 300+ House Martins with a few Sand Martins and Swallows over the pools this evening, also three Yellow Wagtails and five Common Terns. (Nick Goatman).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbed today 60+ House Martins, six Sand Martins, three Meadow Pipits, six Reed Buntings, five Cetti’s Warblers, 15 Sedge Warblers, six Reed Warblers (pic by John), two Willow Warblers, 13 Tufted Ducks, eight Swifts, eight Gadwalls, two Common Terns, three Grey Wagtails, two Red Crested Pochards, two Grey Herons, two Little Egrets, a Cormorant and a Lapwing. My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
