Coombe Hill Meadows     Four Mute Swans, ten Greylags, four Shelducks, a male Wigeon, three Gadwalls, a male Shoveler, two Little Egrets, four Grey Herons, two Oystercatchers tending two chicks (hatched on 27 May), c8 Lapwings, a Black-tailed Godwit, two Curlews, two Redshanks, a Cuckoo, 25 Swifts, a Redstart, a Cetti’s Warbler, c5 Sedge Warblers, c4 Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat and c5 Reed Buntings. Ashleworth Ham/Hasfield Ham     Three Lapwings possibly nesting on the reserve, a Redstart, 2-3 Sedge Warblers, two Whitethroats and three Reed Buntings today. (Les Brown/Mike Smart).

Tirley area     In the Town Street Farm/Haw Bridge/Tirley area, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Red Kite, two Curlews, six Stock Doves, 4+ Swifts, 16+ House Martins, 8+ Swallows, eight Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, two Whitethroats and four Redstarts (3m, 1f). (Mark Grieve).

Cheltenham     A Red Kite over the garden at 12:30pm, a garden tick, mobbed by one of the Peregrine pair nesting at Christchurch in Malvern Road. (Jonathan Angliss).

Tibberton     At least two Red Kites seen over the Huntley Road during the last few days. (Carol Kempson).   

Chedworth    A Buzzard, a Song Thrush and 20+ Fallow Deer at Chedworth woods. (Ben Hilder/John Cruise).
