Farmcote    At Farmcote Woods between dawn and 9am a Grasshopper Warbler at SP038290. In the afternoon a Wheatear off the Cotswold Way, four Yellowhammers (3m, 1f), four Linnets, two Corn Buntings, six Skylarks, two Yellow Wagtails, a Meadow Pipit and two Ravens flying NE. At 8:45pm a singing Nightingale in Lidcombe Wood. (Michael Cook).

Frampton pools      This evening a LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER, a Cuckoo, three Yellow Wagtails, four Common Terns, two Cetti’s Warblers and an Oystercatcher. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge      A SPOONBILL and two GARGANEY from the Safari today. The SPOONBILL visible distantly from the Sloane Tower this afternoon with a scope. (Roberta Goodall).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Three Cuckoos (2m, 1f), three Blackcaps, Whitethroat (pic by Les) and Chiffchaffs feeding chicks in nests, a Cetti’s Warbler, 11 Canada Geese flew in, three Grey Herons, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers and five Sedge Warblers. (Les Waring).
