Withington     Near Withington Woods a pair of Spotted Flycatchers nesting, a Sparrowhawk, two Yellow Wagtails and a roding Woodcock at 9:55pm. (Michael Cook).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Late morning two Greenshanks, a Black-tailed Godwit and an adult male summer-plumaged Ruff. (John & Kevin Widgery).

Alderley     Ten Mandarins (four male, four female and two juvs) on the lake in Ozleworth Bottom. (Vic Polley).

Cleeve Hill      Three Tree Pipits on Prestbury Hill Reserve this morning, also a flock of nine Mistle Thrushes, a distant Cuckoo and a Roe Deer. At Wontley Farm a family of five Stonechats and a Tawny Owl calling at 9:50am. (MK). Tewkesbury Nature Reserve     Three Cuckoos showing well, two Little Egrets, 4+ Reed Buntings, two Swallows, 4+ Whitethroats, two Chiffchaffs, a Sedge Warbler, 3+ Blackcaps, a Grey Heron, four Swifts, three Reed Warblers, ten House Martins, a Skylark and two Lesser Whitethroats. Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint the Peregrine pair and still just one chick showing. Also Ravens with juveniles, four Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, a pair of Kingfishers, a Pied Wagtail, a Jay, Chiffchaffs, Swallows and Swifts. Also a Large White butterfly. Painted Lady butterflies and two Rhinoceros Beetles. (Chris & Phil Andrews).
