Shurdington Two Red Kites flying above a tractor in a field N of the allotments at 11:30am. (Jane Mitchell).
Coombe Hill Meadows A pair of Mute Swans with four young still, a juvenile Shelduck, ten Teal, at least 60 Mallards, a Cormorant, at least five Grey Herons, at least nine Little Egrets, 32 Lapwings, an adult Redshank, two Green Sandpipers, a juvenile Yellow Wagtail, three Whinchats, a singing Reed Warbler, Sedge Warblers active along the ditches, looked as if several broods had fledged and at least three Reed Buntings still singing.
