Sharpness     21 Mandarins on the canal between Sharpness and Purton today. A moult gathering as in previous years. (Andy Jordan).

Tirley     A calling Tawny Owl at 1am. At Tirley Sandpits a Green Woodpecker, four Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Ravens, 8+ Chiffchaffs, 28+ Swallows, eight Whitethroats, 17+ House Martins, six Skylarks, a Little Owl calling briefly, seven Stock Doves, a Spotted Flycatcher, two Blackcaps, three Bullfinches, 2+ Willow Warblers, a Yellowhammer, a Greylag over and a Fox. (Mark Grieve).
