WWT Slimbridge     The juvenile BLACK TERN still on South Lake today. Also two Ruff. From Zeiss hide the Spotted Redshank still and three Ruff. Two Green Sandpipers from Knott hide and a fresh Lesser Whitethroat. Two Green Sandpipers and a Kingfisher on the Rushy. (MK).

Cotswold Water Park East    At Whelford Pools on Pit 111 five Cormorants, four Great Crested Grebes and a Grasshopper Warbler heard reeling near the bench on the opposite side left corner to the hide. On Pit 111a 37 Tufted Ducks, two Egyptian Geese, 14 Red Crested Pochards, four Great Crested Grebes, two Little Grebes, 11 Cormorants, a Goldcrest and a Treecreeper. (John Fletcher).

Hempsted     A Swift this evening at Netheridge Farm and a Hobby over at lunchtime. (Mark Hobson).
