Coombe Hill Meadows      A GREAT GREY SHRIKE this morning, right down the towpath opposite the footbridge to Long Pool. Also six Mute Swans, seven Canada Geese, four Wigeon, 84 Teal, 12 Mallards, four Shovelers, two Grey Herons, a Little Egret, five Snipe, a Redshank, a Kingfisher, a Sparrowhawk, five Meadow Pipits SW, 20 Redwings, a Cetti’s Warbler, two Chiffchaffs calling, 25 Goldfinches and three Reed Buntings. Cleeve Hill    At least four RING OUZELS together on Cleeve Hill this afternoon at 2:15pm, feeding on Hawthorn bushes laden with berries along with Redwings. At the foot of the escarpment cliff by the small wood on the cliff-side to the N of Prestbury Hill Reserve at SO985253. (Rob & Petra Crofton).

Berkeley shore     Two Snipe, two Wheatears and three Stonechats this morning along Berkeley Pill to the Severn.  (Vic Polley).

Epney     Four Ruff on the river opposite the Anchor Inn. (Jeremy Squire).

Forest of Dean     At Crabtree Hill four Stonechats and 6+ Reed Buntings, at Woorgreens Lake 21 Coots, eight Canada Geese, two Little Grebes, a Cormorant, a Snipe, two Moorhens and two Wigeon today.  (Frank Williams).
