Forest of Dean     At Cannop Ponds a Grey Wagtail, male and female Mandarins, mating Common Darter dragonflies and a Red Admiral. (Chris & Phil Andrews). Pic by Phil.mandarin-131016

Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint the Peregrine pair, Ravens, five Buzzards, c70 Canada Geese, Jays, Redwings, a Mistle Thrush, four Fallow Deer and a Red Admiral. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Cleeve Hill     Two Wheatears this morning. (Andy Jayne).

Painswick     A Red Kite over Painswick Beacon and a Peregrine on the common land along Sevenleazes Lane today. (Marie-Claire Chapman).

Berkeley     Still two House Martins over the garden in Berkeley this evening. (Tom Weston-McClung).

Sharpness    A Cormorant, a Kingfisher, three Great Crested Grebes, c30 Long-tailed Tits mobbed a hovering Kestrel and eight Mandarins (5m, 3f). Also a Tawny Owl calling further up the canal at 6:30pm at Purton. (Paddy Doyle).

Gloucester     At Robinswood Hill birds included 25 Goldfinches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, two Jays and six Long-tailed Tits. (John Fletcher).
