Stow-on-the-Wold     The BLUE ROCK THRUSH of unknown origin still present today in Fishers Close and surrounding streets. Strictly no parking in Fishers Close, there is a public car park near the Bell pub 5 minutes walk away or find alternative parking in the town. Please show the residents respect and as much privacy as is possible. There will be a collection for Kate’s Home Nursing  please give generously on site or on-line.

Saul     Three CATTLE EGRETS and ten Little Egrets in horse paddocks beside the Arlingham road just past Cadbury Bridge this morning. (MK/Roy Widgery).

WWT Slimbridge     Three OTTERS from Kingfisher Hide, also a Goshawk, a Sparrowhawk, and 14 Ruff and a Little Stint and 122 Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. (Nigel Pleass). Also a Marsh Harrier went through past Holden Tower. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Arlingham     A Barn Owl at 8:08am. (MK).

Epney     A Yellow-legged Gull on the riverbank this afternoon. (Jeremy Squire).

Ashley     This morning a Woodcock, a Corn Bunting, 35+ Yellowhammers, 80+ Redwings, 168+ Fieldfares, six Skylarks, a Green Woodpecker, four Bullfinches, a Goldcrest and a Tawny Owl. (Mark Grieve).

Sharpness     A female/first-winter male BLACK REDSTART still at the end of Dock Road today. (Andy Jordan).

Harnhill     Six Grey Partridges this morning. (Andy Lodge).

Forest of Dean     A female Brambling feeding with Chaffinches in the garden today. (Lewis Thomson).

Cotswold Water Park West     A pair of Goosanders and 56 Red Crested Pochards on Pit 44. (Jon Mercer).

Gloucester     Two Little Egrets on Daniel’s Brook Relief drain today. (Mark Hobson). 40+ Snipe, a Little Egret, four Reed Buntings, three Meadow Pipits, nine Teal and six Wigeon at Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake this morning. (Martin Greenish).
