Bussage     This morning five WAXWINGS near Lypiatt View, perched in bushes at times, but very mobile. Also a Red Kite flew over. (Terry Grant). Eight WAXWINGS in the small berry bushes and nearby trees, at the junction between the Ridgeway and Toadsmoor road from 11-11:30am. (Martine Fenn).

Quedgeley     A WAXWING at Kingsway in the orchard off of Woodvale. (Paula Whitcher).

Cheltenham     30 WAXWINGS in Swindon Road between Chosen View Road junction and Buildbase again today. (Gerry Shilham).

WWT Slimbridge     A WHOOPER SWAN on the Rushy at dawn. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Forest of Dean     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE at the N end off Yew Tree Brake and eight Crossbills. (Frank Williams/Roberta Goodall/Ian Hull). Seven Hawfinches, two Dippers and c30 Siskins at Parkend, 52 Crossbills on Serridge Ridge and at Drybrook Road Station c20 Lesser Redpolls and 22 Crossbills. (Ian Hull).

Symonds Yat    The Peregrine pair, five Buzzards, male and female Sparrowhawk, five Bullfinches, a Song Thrush, five Jays, a Grey Heron, six Goosanders (2m, 4f), six Goldcrests, a Green Woodpecker and a flock of Long-tailed Tits today. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Longford     A Barn Owl at the back of the building site at Horsbere Drive at 4:25pm. (Frank Bryant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Mute Swans, a Canada Goose, four Shelducks, 220 Wigeon, 140 Teal, 15 Mallards, 21 Pintails (12 m, 9 f), 18 Shovelers, two Grey Herons, a Little Egret, a Cormorant, six Coot, a Water Rail calling from Long Pool, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming, four Skylarks, 40 Fieldfares, 15 Redwings and a Reed Bunting today. Ashleworth Ham     Three Mute Swans, 70 Greylags, 56 Canada Geese, 120 Wigeon, 320 Teal, eight Shovelers, two Grey Herons, 440 Lapwings and 26 Snipe today. (Les Brown/Mike Smart).

Rodley     Viewed from high ground by Hill Farm (SO749121) 81 Canada Geese and 140 Wigeon. (Mike Smart).

Painswick Beacon     Birds over included a Buzzard, a Peregrine, 19 Ravens, two Crossbills and two Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming in nearby beech wood. (John Fleming).

Thrupp     Two Water Rails on the canal at Griffin Mill this morning. (Mark Lang).

Northleach     Three Goldcrests this morning. (Ben Hilder/Roisin Wood).
