Sherborne Water Meadows     A ringtail HEN HARRIER flushed from a reedy ditch and a Marsh Tit in Picardy Copse today. (Ian Hull). 

Arlingham     The RICHARD’S PIPIT at 11am in the field just NW of the rough field with the mistletoe-covered hawthorn, on the bank and in short grass near the river at SO715118. (Peter Butler).

Frampton     The GREAT WHITE EGRET still in the NE corner of Court Lake at 1pm, and the immature male Goldeneye still. (Geoff Moyser). A Woodcock this morning at Court Lake in the NE corner near the Perryway. (Roy Widgery).

Forest of Dean     Four Hawfinches at Parkend this morning behind the cricket pitch, three Crossbills flew over Yew Tree Brake and two flew over Crabtree Hill. (Jon Mercer). Pic by Jon.hawfinch-190117

WWT Slimbridge     A Red Kite at the far end of the Tack Piece at 2:20pm today. (Stef Hawley).

Ashley     100+ Redwings, 320+ Fieldfares, two Buzzards, 40+ Yellowhammers, 75+ Chaffinches, a male Sparrowhawk, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, 15+ Skylarks, a Green Woodpecker, a Meadow Pipit, a Nuthatch, a Bullfinch, three Grey Partridges, four Red-legged Partridges and four Roe Deer today. (Mark Grieve).
