richards-pipit-4-250117Quedgeley     26 WAXWINGS at Kingsway in the Orchard off of Woodvale opposite Asda today in the area around SO814138 until 3pm at least. (Mark Hobson/Matt Lathan/Rob Daw).

Forest of Dean     In the Crabtree Hill/Yew Tree Brake areas the GREAT GREY SHRIKE, a male Stonechat, 16+ Crossbills and five Reed Buntings today. (Frank Williams).

Brockweir     A garden Water Rail for the last couple of days, probably due to the very cold conditions. (Deborah Stock).

WWT Slimbridge     Two BITTERNS still along South Finger this afternoon. Three reported today. (Arron Roberts).

Frampton     The Tawny Owl still roosting in a large tree left of the entrance gate at the village end in Court Field today. (Shane Long).

Cheltenham     A Little Egret fishing in the River Chelt in Honeybourne Way today. (Dave Raybould).

Bentham     A pair of Stonechats today. (Gordon Avery).

Ashleworth Ham     From GWT hide at Meerend Thicket six Snipe, 150+ Teal, 75+  Wigeon, 16 Shovelers, six Pintails, a Grey Heron, a Canada Goose, a Kingfisher, a Peregrine, two Goldcrests, two Nuthatches and two Buzzards today. (John Fletcher).

Northleach     A Barn Owl flew low across the A429 Fosse Way this evening at Broadwater Bottom. (Andy Lewis).
