Painswick     c16 WAXWINGS late afternoon at Painswick playground feeding on berries in an adjacent garden at SO868099. (Susanne Zamze).

Eastcombe     11 WAXWINGS feeding at 3pm near Fourways Garage today. (Mike Phelps).

Chaxhill     At least eight WAXWINGS sat opposite the Smokery at Chaxhill on the A48 at 2:50pm today. (Pete Grimmitt).

Bourton-on-the-Water     Three WAXWINGS still present at the start of Moors Lane. (Andy Lewis).

Cheltenham     A Ring-billed Gull reported on Cheltenham University lake today at SO938209. No sign when looked for late morning/early afternoon. Reported by the groundsman to have been present for 2 weeks. (Cheltenham U3A Birding Group per Bridget Reid).

Forest of Dean     This morning at Crabtree Hill a Goshawk, the GREAT GREY SHRIKE, a LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER, a Hawfinch and six Crossbills. At Woorgreens Lake two female Goosanders and four Tufted Ducks (2m, 2f). Also a Goshawk heard near Drybrook Road Station. (Frank Williams/Mike Powell). Eight Hawfinches at Crown Lane this morning. Frampton     A GREAT WHITE EGRET on Court Lake this morning again. (Roy Widgery).

Saul     Two CATTLE EGRETS in paddocks again this afternoon. (Roy Widgery).

Walmore Common     Seven Bewick’s Swans (6 adults) and two WHOOPER SWANS were still present today. (Mike Powell).

Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake 50+ Snipe, three Little Egrets, a Chiffchaff and five Reed Buntings this morning. (Martin Greenish).

Stonehouse     On the canal at the Ocean a Kingfisher, near Bonds Mill bridge two Little Grebes, at Bonds Mill weir two Grey Wagtails and another at Guns Mill. (Paul Sutton).
