Far Oakridge     Two WAXWINGS calling then flew into a tree on the crossroads at SO923036 at midday. Also 30 Redwings and two Fieldfares. (Phil Williams).

WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN showed well from Zeiss hide today. (John Tilby). A Spotted Redshank on the Tack Piece with ten Ruff and 1:40pm. (Rich Hearn).

Forest of Dean    14 WAXWINGS briefly at Staple Edge late afternoon. (Phil & Helen Mugridge). Three WAXWINGS at Crabtree Hill, 4+ Hawfinches early morning at Crown Lane, Parkend and two Dippers behind the Fountain Inn, seven Mandarins at Mallard’s Pike and one on Cannop Ponds, also a Siskin here. Barrington Bushes     20+ Red Kites flying and landing to take worms from fields being ploughed by the trig point at SP210163 early afternoon. (MK).

Seven Springs     Two Red Kites at 3pm today.  (Mark Grieve).

Cotswold Water Park East     At Pit 111 SU175996 birds included three Goosanders, 35 Coots, four Great Crested Grebes, 12 Tufted Ducks, nine Teal, four Shovelers, a Little Egret, a Red Kite, three Reed Buntings and six Goldcrests. At Pit 111a birds included five Pochards, four Great Crested Grebes, eight Tufted Ducks, six Shovelers and 13 Cormorants. At Pit 126 11 Great Crested Grebes and 12 Tufted Ducks. (John Fletcher).
