Awre    Belated news of a pale-phase SKUA sp, probably Arctic at 4:30pm on the river yesterday (23rd). Also two KITTIWAKES and two adult Mediterranean Gulls. (John Phillips).

Frampton    A GREAT GREY SHRIKE on bushes at the back of the reedbed N of Splatt Bridge at 1pm. (Katie Martin).

Cotswold Water Park West    The BLACK-NECKED GREBE still on Pit 65 today until 3pm at least. (Colin Greenfield/Jon Mercer). Pic by Ham     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL still showing distantly at 5pm. Quedgeley     The female/immature BLACK REDSTART still at Kingsway in Chivenor Way by the settling pond today. (MK). Pic by     The RICHARD’S PIPIT still today at SO719117 in the small, narrow, rough field on the edge of the river with a small hawthorn in the middle of it. (Roy Widgery).

Forest of Dean     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE again at the top of Crabtree Hill until midday at least. Other birds included up to ten Crossbills, 50+ Siskins, a male BRAMBLING and three Stonechats (2m, 1f). Two drake Wigeon grazing on the island at Woorgreens and three Goosanders (1m, 2fm). Painswick Beacon     Passage over the Beacon today included 347 Black-headed Gulls, 4630 Common Gulls east, eight Ravens, eight Fieldfares, 51 Redwings, 23 Chaffinches, a BRAMBLING and six Siskins. (John Fleming).

Leighterton     A singing Corn Bunting on wires just E of Bennett’s Farm (Vic Polley).

Cirencester     A Barn Owl at 2:45am over the A417 near to Tesco.

Ashley     1100+ Starlings on pasture, 130+ Fieldfares, 14+ Skylarks, three Stonechats (2 m, 1 f), 9+ Reed Buntings, nine Buzzards, 105+ Linnets, 15+ Yellowhammers, 100+ Chaffinches, three Stock Doves, a Sparrowhawk, 17 Redwings and a Pied Wagtail. (Mark Grieve).

Colesbourne     A  Red Kite over the A435 today. (Keith White).

North Cerney     At Cerney Gardens a singing Chaffinch and a Nuthatch. (Keith White).

Cheltenham     A pair of Ravens flew over Eldorado Road. (Keith White).

Staverton     A Skylark on Staverton Aerodrome at the NE end near the Flying Shack at 2pm. (David Norman).
