Frampton     At the Sailing Lake a BLACK TERN, two Common Terns, a Common Sandpiper, a Whinchat, a Nightingale, 100+ Swifts, 50+ Swallows, 300+ Sand Martins and a Cuckoo today. Five Hobbies hunting over Court Lake. (Nick Goatman).

Cleeve Hill     This evening at least two RING OUZELS, one male and two Cuckoos just below the heather enclosure. (Ashley Davies).

Forest of Dean     At Wenchford a Garden Warbler, a Jay, a pair of Grey Wagtails feeding young, a pair of Long-tailed Tits, Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers, Blackcaps, a Goldcrest and Song Thrushes. In the Cannop Ponds area a pair of Bullfinches, a pair of Willow Warblers, a Whitethroat, Blackcaps, Chiffchaffs, a pair of Pied Wagtails, Ravens, Buzzards, Song Thrushes, Stock Doves and a pair of Mistle Thrushes. Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint the Peregrine pair, a Hobby, a Red Kite, two Sparrowhawks, a Kestrel, Buzzards, Ravens, a Marsh Tit, 12 Swifts, Swallows, House Martins, a Common Sandpiper, a Kingfisher, a Treecreeper and Stock Doves. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Rodborough     A Red Kite, two Sparrowhawks, two Mistle Thrushes and 14 Swift over the Common this morning. Butterflies included Dingy Skipper, Small Heath, Brown Argus and Duke of Burgundy. (Duerden Cormack).

Stroud     Two Kingfishers and three Grey Wagtails on the Stroudwater Canal today. (Duerden Cormack).

Ashley     A Red Kite over the garden and a male Wheatear on the garden wall. (Mark Grieve).

Severn Hams     Along the River Severn from Haw Bridge to Chaceley Stock 2+ Curlews, four Whimbrels on a potato field, two Common Sandpipers on the edge of the river, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, ten Sand Martins around the colony at Malthouse Farm, three Redstarts, three Sedge Warblers, two Lesser Whitethroats, three Whitethroats and two Reed Buntings.
