Highnam Woods     This evening at least six Nightingales singing, a pair of Spotted Flycatchers and six Sand Martins over. (Mark Hobson/Dave Owen).

Cam Green     A Hobby over late afternoon. (Neil Smart).

Cotswold Water Park West     Along the Thames path from Pit 57 downstream to the footbridge, singing birds included a Nightingale, five Garden Warblers, a Cettis Warbler and a Reed Bunting. Also eight Common Terns, a Buzzard, a Green Woodpecker, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Treecreeper, a Goldcrest and a Stock Dove. (Steve Brown).

Driffield     A Red Kite over near the village. (Steve Brown).

Rendcomb     Two Grey Wagtails and a Green Woodpecker today. (Steve Brown).

Cheltenham     At Naunton Park, a pair of Long-tailed Tits carrying food to their nest site next door. (Steve Brown).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
