Winchcombe    Three Ring-necked Parakeets flew over the house at midday. (Steve Owen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon seven Little Ringed Plovers, three Redshank chicks, three Lapwing chicks, two Oystercatcher chicks, a Little Owl and a singing Yellowhammer. (Ian Hull).

Southrop     A male Grey Partridge calling from a field adjacent to the old Southrop aerodrome this morning and five Yellowhammers, two Corn Buntings, five Linnets and a Grey Wagtail on the road between Southrop and Hatherop. (Michael Cook).

WWT Slimbridge     This afternoon from Zeiss Hide a CURLEW SANDPIPER, a Knot, 61 Avocets, 4+ Reed Warblers, 15+ Swallows and 12+ Redshanks. From Mid Point three Curlews and an Oystercatcher. From Hogarth Hide two GCRP Cranes, an adult and a chick. From Robbie Garnett hide three Green Sandpipers and 30+ Black-tailed Godwits over. On the Rushy nine Green Sandpipers. My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
