WWT Slimbridge     A colour-ringed WOOD SANDPIPER on the Top New Piece today, later relocating to the Rushy and still present late afternoon. (Slimbridge Sightings/Paul Rich/Kerry Lloyd).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Mute swan pair with eight cygnets, six Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, two Common Sandpipers, two Little Ringed Plovers, six Redshanks, two Oystercatchers, two Curlews, 30+ Lapwings, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Cuckoo, three Skylarks, 12 Goldfinches, two Bullfinches, seven Greenfinches, a Grasshopper Warbler close to the hide, five Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, three male Blackcaps, five Sedge Warblers, four Reed Warblers, four Willow Warblers, eight Long-tailed Tits, two Stock Doves and eight Reed Buntings. Dowdeswell Reservoir     A Green Sandpiper today. (Tom Mabbett).

Dudbridge     On the canal by the top lock five Mandarins, a Dipper and a Grey Wagtail today. (Keith & Lyn Perkins).

Cherington     Three Chiffchaffs, 8+ Blackcaps, 9+ Skylarks, two Ravens, a Goldcrest, two Spotted Flycatchers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, four Stock Doves, 10+ Swallows, a Green Woodpecker, five Buzzards, four Whitethroats, three Bullfinches, three Yellowhammers, two Jays, a Willow Warbler, two Nuthatches, a Swift over, a Kestrel and a Roe Deer. Sherborne     A Little Owl today at Northfield Barn near Sherborne, also saw two Little Egrets in the Sherborne Brook and a Red Kite flying over near the Community Hall. (Paddy Doyle). Pic by Paddy.
