Ashleworth Ham     A Buzzard, a Spotted Flycatcher, a pair of Bullfinches and a Chiffchaff. Also Small White, Ringlet, Comma and Holly Blue butterflies. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Twyning     At Upham  Meadow at least four Curlews (2 ads, two chicks), at least five Skylarks, three Sedge Warblers still singing and at least four Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart/Juliet Bailey).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Barn Owl (patch tick) and a Little Owl this evening. (Ian Hull).

Haw Bridge     Along the Severn above Haw Bridge four Oystercatchers, a Little Owl calling and 75 Rooks and 20 Jackdaws on a newly cut hayfield. (Mike Smart).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
