Coombe Hill Meadows    The QUAIL still calling today. (Jonathan Angliss). A Little Owl, a pair of Little Ringed Plovers with four chicks, a Barn Owl hunting, two Little Owls and two Grasshopper Warblers reeling at 8:10pm. (Martin Greenish/John Fletcher/Jonathan Angliss/Roy Kinchin/Ian Hull).

Hawling     Two Barn Owls this evening. (Peter Rodgers).

Epney     A Yellow-legged Gull, two Little Egrets and a Common Gull tonight. (Jeremy Squire).

Cleeve Hill     Two Whinchats at Wontley Farm this morning and between the radio masts and the farm parties of Stonechats, three Corn Buntings and five Redstarts. Also 50 fresh Dark Green Fritillaries, park at the radio masts and walk to Wontley Barn. (Duncan Dine). Pic by Duncan.

Frampton pools     A Yellow-legged Gull, a family of Kingfishers, two Oystercatchers, 15 Sand Martins, three Little Egrets and seven Common Terns this morning. (Nick Goatman). Also later two Hobbies and a Yellow Wagtail. (Mark Dowie).

Witcombe Reservoirs     64 Canada Geese, a Barnacle Goose, seven Little Grebes including a juvenile, a Common Sandpiper and a Little Owl today. (Gordon Avery).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbed this afternoon birds included at Pit 85a six Pied Wagtails, three Willow Warblers, four Reed Warblers, two Swallows and a Cormorant. At Pit 85b eight Common Terns (2 juvs), seven Mute Swans (5 juvs), 27 Mallards, two Grey Herons, three Cormorants, two Sedge Warblers and four Reed Buntings. (John Fletcher).
