Frampton pools     This evening a CATTLE EGRET, a GREAT WHITE EGRET, five Little Egrets, four Grey Herons, four Green Sandpipers, two Kingfishers, 18 Teal and a Shoveler. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     On the Rushy a CATTLE EGRET at 8:15am, two Snipe, four Lapwings, 11 Teal, three Green Sandpipers, two Sand Martins, 11 House Martins, five Swallows, three Gadwalls, a Grey Wagtail, a Pied Wagtail and a Stock Dove. From Martin Smith hide a Cetti’s Warbler. From Robbie Garnett hide, 15 Gadwalls, 30 Teal, two Green Sandpipers, six Meadow Pipits, eight GCRP Common Cranes, two Whitethroats and a Chiffchaff. Along the Summer Walkway/Mid Point, a Willow Warbler, a Sand Martin, two Swallows, four Meadow Pipits, 25 Goldfinches, two Kestrels, a Wheatear, a Reed Bunting, a Reed Warbler, 45 Shelducks, three Cormorants, 45+ Dunlins, a Sanderling, a CURLEW SANDPIPER, a Redshank, 53+ Ringed Plovers, a male Peregrine, three Chiffchaffs, , a Little Egret, a Grey Heron, a Blackcap and 26 Curlews. On South Lake, eight Ruff, 25 Redshanks, 130 Black-tailed Godwits, 55 Lapwings, eight Cormorants, 25+ Tufted Ducks and six Teal. From Zeiss hide and South Finger/Kingfisher hide 170+ Teal, 25+ Shovelers, 15+ Gadwalls, a Cetti’s Warbler, 20 Swallows S, two Chiffchaffs, two Yellow Wagtail and a Comma butterfly. Epney     Four adult Yellow-legged Gulls today. (Jeremy Squire).

Sandhurst Hill     This afternoon five Redstarts at S0832245. Also two Kestrels, two Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, 75+ Swallows, 17+ Chiffchaffs, two juvenile Yellow Wagtails, two Blackcaps, a Nuthatch and a Raven. (John Fletcher). Pics by John.
