WWT Slimbridge The Red-breasted Goose mobile around the grounds today with the Barnacle Goose flock. A female Marsh Harrier and a Little Egret from Holden Tower. A Little Stint and a Ruff on the Rushy. 12 Ruff and 20+ Black-tailed Godwits from Zeiss hide. 104+ Black-tailed Godwits, 20+ Redshanks, a Ruff and four Snipe from Hogarth hide. (MK). Leighterton Late morning a Whinchat and a Stonechat on the road 1 km E of the village and a Red Kite circling between Leighterton and Silk Wood. (Vic Polley).
Frampton At the Sailing Lake this morning a Goshawk, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, four Grey Wagtails, 17 Pied Wagtails, two Green Sandpipers, 50+ Swallows and 15 Curlews over. This evening a Hobby, 500+ Swallows, eight Wigeon, 30 Teal, ten Little Egrets and two Tawny Owls. (Nick Goatman).
