Frampton     At Court Lake the GREAT WHITE EGRET, 15 Little Egrets, 25 Teal, three Kingfishers, a Chiffchaff, two Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, four Jays and a Red Kite over at 4:40pm. (Steve Pullen). Four Snipe at Splatt reed bed and a Kingfisher this morning. Nearby 50+ Meadow Pipits at Saul Warth. (Gordon Hodgson).

Berkeley shore     A Whimbrel and Wheatear. Also five Small Coppers and three Migrant Hawkers. (Paul Taylor).

Hempsted     A Cetti’s Warbler today at Netheridge Farm, a patch tick, also a male Tawny Owl vocal at midday, three Chiffchaffs, three Buzzards, seven Teal and the female Wigeon still. (Mark Hobson).

Painswick Beacon     This morning 27 Redwings and five Song Thrushes NW between 9-10am. (Francis Steuck).

Dowdeswell Reservoir     A Water Rail, four Redwings, three Lesser Redpolls, three Cormorants and four Great Crested Grebes today. (Tom Mabbett).

Cambridge     Three FIELDFARES over today. (Mrs Goatman).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
