Beachley Point     A female type BLACK REDSTART around the pylon today. Also a WHIMBREL, a Stonechat, 4+ Rock Pipits, five Lesser Redpolls and 11 Fieldfares over. Lewis Thomson).

Tidenham Chase     9+ Hawfinches feeding on sloes at the bottom of Poors Allotment, also 64 Redwings, 31 Fieldfares and 16 Lesser Redpolls. At The Park three Crossbills, four Lesser Redpolls and a Hawfinch over. (Lewis Thomson).

Berkeley shore     Two female MERLINS late morning. Also two Lesser Redpolls and eight Siskins over, c150 Redwings and eight Fieldfares. (Paul Taylor).

Frampton     A Kingfisher mid-morning on the pond behind Vicarage Lane at SO747070. (Antony Seabright).

Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint today the resident Peregrines, a male and female Goshawk, a male Sparrowhawk, Buzzards, Ravens, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Mistle Thrush, a Hawfinch, Redwings, Jays, two Grey Herons, Fieldfares, Long-tailed Tits and four Goosanders (2m, 2f). Also a Fallow Deer still rutting. Cotswolds     North of Hazleton a Red Kite, a Brambling in with a flock of Chaffinches, Goldfinches and Yellowhammers. At Hawling Linnets, Chaffinches, a pair of Stonechats, a Kestrel and at least five Red Kites. (Ivan & Rose Sansom). Pic by Ivan and Rose.
