Cleeve Hill     At 4:30pm today two Short-eared Owls hunting over the heather enclosure and on the hill above. (Colin Midgeley).

Eastleach     15 Corn Buntings, 50 Linnets and a Stonechat in weedy fields W of Eastleach Downs Farm today. (Ian Ralphs).

Walmore Common     A family of four Whooper Swans flew in at 9:45am. (Andy Jayne). Also there today 22+ Blackbirds, four Song Thrushes, 95+ Redwings, ten Bullfinches, three Jays, two Stock Doves, a female Sparrowhawk, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, four Mistle Thrushes, six Teal, 18+ Fieldfares, a Grey Heron, a Snipe, two Pied Wagtails, two Meadow Pipits, a Green Woodpecker and 15 Linnets. Frampton pools     The adult Whooper Swan and the adult Yellow-legged Gull still, a Green Sandpiper, two Chiffchaffs, five Little Grebes, ten Great Crested Grebes, 170 Redwings, 80 Fieldfares, six Mistle Thrushes, 14 Song Thrushes, 35 Blackbirds, 51 Tufted Ducks, 19 Teal, a Pochard, 282 Coots, 32 Gadwalls, three Shovelers and 32 Mallards today. Arlingham     N of Arlingham this morning 45 Lapwings and c20 Fieldfares. At dusk a Barn Owl at SO710117. (Antony Seabright).

Batsford     Five Crossbills feeding high in conifer trees at Batsford Arboretum this afternoon, also five Goldcrests. (Michael Cook).

WWT Slimbridge     16 White-fronted Geese and two Bewick’s Swans this morning. Also the Red-breasted Goose, of unknown origin, with the feral Barnacle Goose flock and a Little Stint and 70 Pintails on the Rushy. (James Kenny/Paul Masters/Mark Hobson).

Bussage     Three Greenfinches and a male Blackcap on the bird table this morning. (Michael Cook).

Cirencester     c20 Pied Wagtails flying to roost in the Abbey Grounds late afternoon. (Michael Cook).
