Sharpness     This morning a female type BLACK REDSTART flew from the boatyard onto the disused office block at the end of Dock Road at 9:30am. (Steve Brown).

Charlton Kings     A Tawny Owl calling at 4:30pm in Charlton Park Gate. (Steve Brown).

Dudbridge     Near Sainsbury’s two Jays, a Grey Wagtail and a Goldcrest today. (Steve Brown).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon birds included 90 Wigeon, 70 Teal, 13 Pintails, five Shelducks, five Mute Swans, 25 Mallards, five Grey Herons, five Cormorants over, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, five Bullfinches, male and female Stonechat, two Pied Wagtails, five Stock Doves, 27 Fieldfares and two Great Spotted Woodpeckers. Ashleworth Ham     This morning birds included four Canada Geese, four Lapwings, a Mute Swan, four Snipe, a Firecrest, a Nuthatch, two Grey Heron, three Shovelers (2m, 1f), six Pintails and 100+ Teal. Near Tirley a Buzzard. (Martin Russell).

Whiteshill    A male Blackcap on Mahonia in the garden today. (Barry Hill).

Stroud     A female Blackcap in the garden this afternoon. (Giles Diggle).
