Forest of Dean     At Speech House Arboretum car park a female Tawny Owl heard and two Ravens over. At Parkend cricket ground in Crown Lane six Hawfinches. At Cannop Ponds six Mandarins (3m, 3f), five Wigeon, 15 Tufted Ducks and c20 Siskins. At New Fancy View two Siskins, a male Bullfinch and a Buzzard. (Derek Hale).

Cambridge     Two garden Hawfinches again at Ryalls Lane, today. Also of note, a male Brambling, a female Kingfisher fishing successfully, two male and two female Blackcaps,  a Water Rail and c30 Fieldfares feeding on fallen Perry pears. (Ennis Jones).

Frampton pools     A male Pintail and a Shelduck on Court Lake. Also around the pools 89 Tufted Ducks, 62 Gadwalls ,three Wigeon, five Shovelers, 37 Teal, eight Great Crested Grebe, a Little Grebe, 24 Mallards, 208 Coots, two Kingfishers, a Grey Wagtail and the adult Yellow-legged Gull still. Naunton     Birds today included four Bullfinches, 15+ Blackbirds, 80+ Fieldfares and Redwings, 10+ Chaffinches, two Goldfinches, male and female Sparrowhawks, two Red Kites, a Goldcrest, a Nuthatch, 20+ Blue Tits, six Coal Tits and two Willow Tits. (Phil Steele).

Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint today the Peregrine pair, a Goshawk, Buzzards, four Ravens, a Jay, a male and female Goosander, two Greenfinches, a male and female Bullfinch, a Grey Heron, a Goldcrest and Long-tailed Tits. Also four Fallow Deer and a Bank Vole. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Arlingham     In the area c250 Lapwings, a Grey Heron, six Cormorants, four Great Black-backed Gulls, a Buzzard, a Kestrel and c36 Redwings today. (Antony Seabright).

Leigh Meadows     Four Mute Swans, two Canada Geese, 14 Mallards, four Teal, a Grey Heron, a Snipe, two Green Sandpipers and two Ravens. (Mike Smart).
