Cotswold Water Park East     A first-winter SCAUP on Pit 125 today. (Kim Milsom).

Ashleworth Ham     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL in front of the hide at 1pm, first sighting since 31/12/17. (Ian Hull).

Gloucester     The PENDULINE TIT at Plock Court, Longford still today at SO837204. Wellies essential currently. Please keep a reasonable distance from the bird to allow it to feed in the ponds. (Paddy Doyle). Pic by Paddy.

Arlingham     The RICHARD’S PIPIT still today at the small field with the little hawthorn tree by the river’s edge at SO718118. It also gets in the surrounding fields but doesn’t move far. Park sensibly in Arlingham village. Take the public footpath on the left after Slowwe House (don’t take the Silver Street Project trail). Follow the footpath across the fields until you reach a farmyard (with Alpacas). Go up onto the seawall and follow the Severn Way downriver towards the bird. (Richard Tyler). Pic by Richard.

Forest of Dean     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE at Crabtree Hill late morning, also 6+ Crossbills over and a mixed flock of Siskins and Lesser Redpolls. 15 Hawfinches at Parkend by the cricket pitch in Crown Lane. (Jon Mercer/Paddy Doyle). At  Drybrook Road Station eight Hawfinches, seven Crossbills and 200+ Siskins, Lesser Redpolls and Goldfinches in a mixed flock. (Les Ditchburn). Frampton     The female MARSH HARRIER viewed from Splatt Bridge at 1:45pm. On the flashes this afternoon 65+ Curlews, 50+ Lapwings, 116 Shelducks and 25 Pintails. (MK).

Great Barrington     From Barrington Bushes trig point a ringtail HEN HARRIER at 1:20pm. (Martin Greenish).

Elmore     A Barn Owl flew across the road and over a stubble field near Elmore Court at 4:45pm. (MK).

Cotswold Water Park West     A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF with six Common Chiffchaffs along the stream by the entrance gate to Shorncote Reedbed again today. Also four Egyptian Geese flew NE and an albino Magpie. (Mark Dowie).

Sharpness     The GREAT NORTHERN DIVER still on the SARA pool today. For birders visiting for the Diver, the bird is also being regularly seen in the ‘marina’ area. Please keep strictly to the towpath and/or footpath through this area. With patience you will see it well either side of the marina. (Paul Taylor).

Winchcombe     A flock of c400 Common Gulls and a Red Kite over the garden at noon today. (Peter Rodgers).
