Saul Warth     A first winter ICELAND GULL at 3:40pm. It flew off at about 3:55pm. (Terry Grant).

Cotswold Water Park West     A BITTERN at Shorncote Reedbed today. Also three Water Rails, a Sparrowhawk, a Snipe, a Grey Wagtail, a Chiffchaff and a leucistic Magpie. (Clive Scarlett). The drake RING-NECKED DUCK still on Pit 16 today. (Terry Grant).

Frampton pools     On Court Lake a pair of Red Crested Pochards, a pair of Oystercatchers and 14 Little Egrets today. (Nick Goatman).

Colesbourne     A Hawfinch at Colesbourne Park gate on the A435 at 9:15am. Please don’t park on the main road due to a dangerous bend here. (Roy Shilham).

Wotton-Under-Edge     A garden Hawfinch on and off all day. Also a Coal Tit and two Bullfinches. (Morag Hughes).

Quedgeley     A garden Hawfinch today, almost certainly one of the Fishers Meadow birds. (Paul Masters).

Woodchester Park     12 nests in the heronry (Grey Herons), with at least six birds seen to be sitting. Also three Marsh Tits. (Terry Grant).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included 600+ Wigeon, 400+ Teal, 60 Pintails, 50 Shovelers, four Gadwall, male and female Tufted Ducks, 14 Shelducks, nine Snipe, two Mute Swans, 11 Greylags, a Little Egret, a Nuthatch, two Ravens and ten Lapwings. (John Fletcher).

Gloucester     At Alney Island this afternoon 110 Teal, two pairs of Gadwalls and six Coots on Castlemeads West N.R. and a Grey Heron on Port Ham. (Gordon Avery).
