Forest of Dean     At Parkend 12 Hawfinch in Crown Lane), three Dippers, two Grey Wagtails and a Mandarin all on Cannop Brook below the Fountain Inn. At Woorgreens Lake a Crossbill, c20 Lesser Redpolls, c20 Siskins and three female Goosanders. At Crabtree Hill the GREAT GREY SHRIKE and a probable Lesser Spotted Woodpecker drumming c200m N of CTH (SO633140) but not seen. (Roger Gillespie). Five Hawfinches at Nagshead this morning. Leckhampton Hill     At Hartley Farm 4+ Bramblings with 20+ Chaffinches, 20+ Linnets, 8+ Yellowhammers and six Goldfinches in a small copse on other side of Hartley Lane from the crop cover at SO958178. (Roger Gillespie).

Sharpness     A BLACK REDSTART doing a circuit at the end of Dock Road, two Stock Doves, a Common Sandpiper behind the NedWest building and a Peregrine. (Mark Dowie).

Coombe Hill Meadows     19 Ruffs, seven Dunlins, eight Curlews came in to roost, a Snipe, c200 Lapwings, at least 500 Wigeon, 500 Teal, 40 Pintails, 40 Shovelers and at least 50 Pied Wagtails gathering to roost, then departing S. (Mike Smart).
