Cotswold Water Park East At Pit 125 37 Greylags, 15 Gadwalls, 172 Tufted Ducks, a SCAUP, five Red Crested Pochards, a Cetti’s Warbler in sib-song and two singing Mistle Thrushes. At Pit 114 158 Tufted Ducks, 14 Pochards and ten Goldeneyes. (Nigel Pleass).

Shuthonger A GREAT WHITE EGRET flew across the river towards the main pit at Bredon’s Hardwick, Worcs. (Sarah Loaring).

Coombe Hill Meadows This morning a Kingfisher, five Chiffchaffs looking freshly in, c10 ‘alba’ Wagtails, c10 Reed Buntings, two Black-tailed Godwits, three Redshanks, two Oystercatchers, a Curlew, a Pochard, four Tufted Ducks, a Raven and a Bullfinch. Also a Bank Vole seen well. (Rob Crofton).
Stratton At 11:45am two male Hawfinches in the garden and at 3:30pm a Hawfinch in a Hornbeam tree in a neighbouring garden. Also in the garden a male Brambling, seven Yellowhammers and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. (Ken Cservenka).
Forest of Dean At Cannop Ponds, 12 Mandarins (8m, 4f), on the feeders two Coal Tits, a Siskin, two Goldfinches, a Blackcap and a Buzzard overhead. (Chris Keeling).
Tewkesbury On Severn Ham two pairs of Mute Swans, five Curlews, 84 Carrion Crows and two Reed Buntings singing. (Mike Smart).
Coombe Hill Meadows Grundon Hide not accessible, circular walk impassable. Birds included five Mute Swans, 350+ Wigeon, 400+ Teal, three Gadwalls, 35 Pintails, 45 Shovelers, 17 Tufted Ducks, a Pochard, ten Coots, a pair of Oystercatchers, two Redshank s, 25 Lapwings, two Black-tailed Godwits and two Reed Buntings singing.
